Why International Decade of Millets

India MIllet Initiative conceptualised International Decade of Millets 2024-2034 to take the initiative and efforts taken during International Year of Millets (IyoM 2023).IDoM 2024-2034 was announced in USA at University of Nebraska Lincoln while foramilising Indo-US MIllet Initiative with University of Nebraska ,The Daugherty Water For Food ,North American Millet Alliance and Sorghum United.

International Decade of Millets

India MIllet Initiative will set up Chapters in each State of India with a common goal for ten years with an annual activity calendar to address all the issues of the whole value chain and supply chain and as next step to take Indian Millets to Globe ,India MIllet Initiative will open commercial centres in all the potential countries who supported International Year of Millets 2023 .
